Eastern Medicine Guide

Acupoint Library

A guide to 60 commonly used acupuncture points of traditional Chinese medicine. Each profile covers the point's location, how to find it, its traditional functions and uses, acupressure technique, safety notes, and how modern research views it.

How points are named. The letters identify the meridian (LU for Lung, LI for Large Intestine, ST for Stomach, and so on) and the number gives the point's position along that channel. The system follows the WHO Standard Acupuncture Nomenclature. The classical corpus contains 361 points; this library covers a growing selection of the most commonly used ones.
