This policy explains what information Eastern Medicine Guide collects and what it does not. We have designed the site to collect as little as possible.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account to read any page.
- We do not ask for your name, address, or health history.
- We do not store the answers you select in the constitution quiz or the tongue observation tool. Those tools run entirely in your browser.
- We do not upload, store, or analyze photographs of your tongue or any other health input.
- We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral analytics.
What is processed automatically
Like most websites, the site is served through a hosting provider (Cloudflare). The provider may process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of request in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not combine this information with health data, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for advertising or analytics. If the hosting provider sets a strictly necessary security cookie, it is used only to deliver and protect the site.
If you email us at hello@easternmedicineguide.com, we receive your email address and message. We use them only to reply and to correct content. We do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Children
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can use every educational tool without providing personal information. If you have emailed us, you may ask us to delete your message and address by writing to the same address.
Changes
If we add analytics, advertising, or email subscriptions, we will update this policy before the change takes effect and describe what is collected and why.
